Pricing
How much does towing cost?
A tow is priced as a hook-up fee plus a per-mile rate. Roadside jobs like jump starts and lockouts are a flat service-call price. You get the total on the phone before we send a truck, and an itemized receipt when the job is done.

Georgia’s maximum rates for tows you didn’t request
If a property owner has your car towed from a private lot without your consent, Georgia caps what the towing company can charge. Under the Georgia Department of Public Safety’s Maximum Rate Tariff No. 5, effective June 17, 2024, the caps for cars, SUVs and pickups (10,000 lb or less) are:
- $228 removal fee
- Free storage for the first 24 hours, then $33 per day
- $130 if you arrive before the car leaves the lot and drive it away
- $65 after-hours release fee
These caps cover private-property tows only. For tows ordered by police from public roads, the Georgia Consumer Protection Division says no statewide law limits the price, though some cities and counties set their own. When you call a tow company yourself, the price is whatever you agree to on the phone, so always ask for the total first. More on private-property tows.
